It is the largest river cave in the world and it is located in Prosotsani in the perfecture of Drama. The cave can be visited for a length of 500 metres while in total ,it extends over a length of more than 21 kilometres.

For history lovers, the archaeological site of Philippi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is nearby.
The early Christian monuments of Philippi are among the best preserved monuments of this type and of this historical period.
However, an important event was to change the character of the city: the arrival of the Apostle Paul, who founded the first Christian church on European soil in 49/50 AD.

Falakro is a mountain in the prefecture of Drama, in Macedonia with the highest peak at 2,232 metres. There is a ski centre in Falakrο. It has 3 chalets, two at the base of the ski slope and one at the end of the cable car.
